South Transdanubian Regaional Development Agency

The South Transdanubian Regional Development Agency (STRDA) was established in 1998 as the first regional development agency of Hungary. The aim of the Agency to more than 17 years of experience is to become an effective promoter of local governments’ development projects – financed both by nationally or internationally available EU funding resources.
The Agency, besides its own projects, is actively participating in operations of other institutions as expert, working group member or as management body involved in project development and implementation. Due to these wide scale activities the Agency was involved in more than 20 projects since 2007. Most important thematic areas include SME development, infrastructure, urban development, energetic and cross-border cooperation in general.
